How We Responded to the Covid- 19 Pandemic
Since Covid-19 we had to adapt our services and we were able to achieve the following for the most vulnerable in our community:
· Provided enough food parcels to feed 4,550 people
· Fed over 600 homeless people and 130 veterans
· Delivered hundreds of hygiene and craft parcels
· Delivered 160 Christmas gift boxes to the children we support and the homeless
· Supported many individuals and families through hardship and crisis
· Worked with many families and individuals signposting them to relevant outside help and support
· Setup telephone support service and weekly online Zoom groups
· Run a successful Emotional Logic health and well-being project with several families
· Emotional Logic WhatsApp group for teenagers
· Kayaking sessions on local rivers and Siblyback Lake
· Free Covid safe bouncy castle sessions
· Partnered with many new organisations
· Worked with schools, councils, health service, AgeUk, TFF, CAP and many other organisations
· Received a huge amount of support from businesses and individuals
· Successfully raised funds to ensure continuation of new services
· Recruited many volunteers and new staff
