About Us

Working with our community for our community

Who We Are

We are a community centre based in Liskeard, one of the UK's top 20 most deprived areas, providing vital support services for children, young people and their families, usually running engaging and fun activities, workshops/events that inspire, educate, and help develop skills and confidence for future life.

We identify local need and aim to develop new services that builds lives, hopes and futures.  Our core areas are:

Social Isolation - Inflatable Parties, Community Events & Toddler Group

Youth Boredom - Free workshops, skating & music, volunteering opportunities

Health & Wellbeing - Emotional Logic Teaching, Paddlesports Club, Cycling and Wellbeing Groups

Deprivation - Homeless Soup Run, Children’s Holiday Club and Food Club.

We operate an informal, friendly and confidential approach.  We are kind and caring and understand the difficulties faced by our users through our own past lived experiences which is why we are non judgmental and offer a place of care where people can find tailored support.

We have a proven track record of seeing a need and successfully delivering projects that meet those needs, we have helped and supported hundreds of local people, we work well with other organisations many of whom refer to us and we understand and know our community.

We truly appreciate all our volunteers who commit their time and energy into helping and supporting us because they believe in what we do.
