Welcome

The Lighthouse Community Centre is a not for profit company based in Liskeard that provides support services for people of all ages in the town and surrounding area. The organisation runs activities, workshops, clubs and events that inspires, educates, and helps develop skills and confidence for future life.

With a heart for the community and a mission to meet local need the CEO Clare Bevan and a few friends sat around her kitchen table and decided to do something about it.  The journey led to the Lighthouse Centre which is now a vibrant hub operating an engaging, fun and adaptable program that reaches out to some of the most vulnerable people in Liskeard and surrounding areas.

Our affordable Café serves delicious food in a warm and welcoming space, where customers can enjoy our Soft Play, Pool Table and browse our shop. They are also able to access regular workshops and one-to-one support that are tailored to meet the needs of our community. The Centre is a thriving Hub that offers lots ofl activities and so much more, so why not drop in and say ‘Hi’?

Help Us Support Our Community - Donate Today

Like many other organisations, we need to look at every way possible to keep our community centre ticking over so that we can continue bringing people together and serving our community’s needs.

We love, need and appreciate your donations. Donations can take many forms: volunteering time, a direct donation to our account, a regular monthly contribution and even just a shout-out on social media with our tags.

We don’t want to be a ‘flash in the pan’ therefore sustainability is a key part of what we are trying to achieve. Our business model provides free events and facilities for the most vulnerable in our community whilst income is generated through some of our chargeable activities, grant funding and donations from people like you.

Please consider how you can help us to continue to make a big difference.
