Latest News!

We want to share all of our latest news with you. Check out our progress and keep an eye on what we're doing here.....

January saw the arrival of our new inflatables and some new rules.

It was great to see so many children and parents attend.

Check out our callender and Facebook page for all our events between now and September.

We are thrilled to have received £10,000 from the National Lottery ‘Awards for All’ for our indoor inflatable parties.

We were concerned about isolation, deprivation and the lack of affordable facilities for children and young people in Liskeard and the surrounding areas so we started putting on affordable indoor inflatable parties for our community.

These parties have been a success and although they have been very well attended we have struggled to break even due to our low admission costs and high hire prices for the inflatables. This new grant will be used to purchase our own inflatables which will enable us to continue to benefit the community with these events, “Bringing people together to have fun and not cost the earth is what we are all about and thanks to the Big Lottery Fund we can continue to do this” said CEO Clare Bevan "We are grateful for the support we received from Andrew Mullen from Alusen Ltd for helping us to secure this grant, to our amazing volunteers without whom we couldn't put on such a great event and to the lovely community of Liskeard for supporting us"

We were excited to finally reveal the amazing films put together by the young people who attended our summer media workshop. The work they created was awesome, so a massive well done to everyone for all your hard work and commitment.Apart from the technical difficulties It was a pleasure!

Last week we secured a premises and hope to be operating from it by 23rd July 2018.

May 2018 Half Term Indoor Inflatable Party

We had our first indoor inflatables party which saw nearly 400 children and just over 200 hundred adults attend over the 2 days.  The event was well organised with 15 volunteers and 5 young volunteers.

We are a community interest company that wants to bring people together whatever their circumstances which is why this event was such a success because we priced it low enough to enable everyone to attend regardless of their financial situation.

Brilliant day in the Liskeard store on Saturday 31st August where we collected £327 for the Lighthouse Community Centre and received two cheques from the Co op's Community Fund, (£250 from Liskeard Co op and £250 from Looe Co op.)

The team stayed all day, bag packing and selling cakes, raising money and awareness for this venture.

Massive thanks to Co-op and all the customers for their support.
